Our Courses
What Smart Mama offers for parents?
Live webinars are frequently available to address so many parenting issues including prenatal, antenatal and postnatal issues as well as breastfeeding and child care. Webinars are usually done with a minimal registration fees that only covers the cost. It is part of our commitment to support the communities of parents and raise their awareness to several parenting issues.
Connect with a board-certified lactation consultant to discuss symptoms, answer specific questions, or get a second opinion. Video calls showed excellent results especially in light of rapid digitalization as well as in light of the pandemic Covid – 19 where hands off help is the best option for the safety of you and your baby. Assign an appointment that fits you wherever you are around the globe, and do not forget to determine the preferred language as our experts are English and Arabic speakers.
Training is open to all women who are expecting or currently breastfeeding their babies and feel that that they still need to be supported or lack confidence to continue the journey of breastfeeding. Working mothers also need to gain a lot of information on how to express, store and transport breastmilk for their babies.
Looking for a way to learn childbirth techniques from home? Our classes will prepare you to give birth with confidence, meet your expectations, shed out all your concerns and fears regarding labor and birth. Online childbirth classes cover the same material as in-person classes. Smart Mama online childbirth classes will allow you to have access to the course materials for up to one full year after you’ve signed up, or they’ll provide a downloadable textbook that’s yours to keep (which can really come in handy if you take the class early in your pregnancy and need a refresher as you get closer to your due date).
What Smart Mama offers for health professionals?
The Advanced Lactation Program include 10 unique courses, each addresses a specific topic that is related to the breastfeeding mother and her infant. These courses provide you a comprehensive study program in human lactation and breastfeeding including the 90 hours of training that are required to be eligible to sit for the IBCLC examination.
The objective of this program is to focus attention on the need to improve maternal, infant and young child nutrition across the different stages from preconception through pregnancy, the period of exclusive breastfeeding and the target age for complementary feeding. Understanding the synergistic effects of improved nutrition across different phases and which interventions are appropriate during each phase, is necessary in order to work efficiently with greater success to reduce the high rates of malnutrition around the world.
Are you passionate about family centered maternity care? Do you believe in freedom to make decisions based on knowledge of alternatives? Our childbirth educator certification program will give you the knowledge and experience you need to make a difference in the lives of pregnant women and their families.

As an experienced health professional for about 25 years, I found that the lectures tackle all topics of interest to the lactation consultant. In addition, it focuses on individualized care taking into account the psychological state, and supporting parents and the whole family. The training encourages continuous research and the use of the latest evidence in breastfeeding.
